Wedding Stories
A collection of some of Emmylou’s favourite weddings from around the globe…from South Africa to Arizona.
Emily and Matt at Middleton Lodge
Emily and Matt at Middleton Lodge
Emily and Matt at Middleton Lodge. They chose an intimate ceremony with 40 of their closest family and friends. Lovers of film photographer, they chose my favourite photography package, ‘The Hybrid’. A classic mix of both analogue and digital images to compliment each other.
Middleton Lodge is well know for its Italian Style ‘Fig House’ a new architectural building set in the floral walled gardens, beautiful in any season.
They held their ceremony on the terrace in the sun and enjoyed a glorious champagne spray and tower whilst their guests enjoyed canapés.
An intimate dinner was served in the Fig House followed by a dress change for Emily with a private cake cutting, just the two of them under the bird cage canopy.
They were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset and danced all evening!
Hannah and James
On a rainy day in Queenstown in New Zealand, Hannah and James married whilst the clouds started to clear and evaporate, creating the most spectacular sky and backdrop for the rest of their day.
Determined to capture an essence of Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, they finally made it up the Remarkable’s mountains via a helicopter for the wedding images and memories of a lifetime.
Planned by Alexandra Kate Creative, Florals by Little Botanic, Dress by Kenny and Harlow at Vingard.
Katrina and Nico
Katrina and Nico
A fusion of French and Filipino culture, Katrina and Nico came together to celebrate at Cliveden house in England.
Cliveden has a royal history, including the Princess of Wales’ wedding morning where her bridal preparations began.
Katrina and Nico asked for a hybrid of digital and analogue images which worked magically on their September wedding day.
Her vendors included a wedding dress made by Viktor and Rolf, florals by Flavia Studio, hair and make up by Botias Hair and Make Up.
Isabelle and Jonny
Isabelle and Jonny
Married just outside Lisbon, Isabelle wanted to celebrate her father’s birthplace. They chose the venue for the colours, the yellows seeming to capture the couple’s energy and their friend’s loyalty.
Their vendors included Emilia Wickstead at Quinta D’sant’ana.
Kelsey and Aaron
Kelsey and Aaron
Three flights and six days in Arizona where Emmylou spent four days with these beautiful people feeding her soul.
Kelsey chose to honour her Turkish heritage and wear a red dress for her wedding day. Pomegranates were present throughout the day for guests to savour and cherish.
Followed by line dancing in a cowboy bar…it couldn’t have been any better.
Laura and Al

Married at the famous and beautiful Marylebone Town Hall in London, everyone shed a tear as they witnessed this wonderful ceremony filled with love. Followed by a London bus trip to the exquisite The Nomad, everyone was treated with an open top tour.
Dinner followed under a canopy of stars within the dining room, adorned with gypsophila trees and candle light. And dancing of course.

Influencer Kate married her Chris at Hotel Café Royal in London, famous for the James Bond movie. Kate wore three dresses for her day and their VIP guest was their puppy who sat with them during dinner.
A gold adorned ceremony with florals from Emma Soulsby, Kate wore dresses from House of CB.
Cat and Matt
Cat and Matt
The cutest couple with the most precious group of family and friends, they celebrated on a warm summer’s day. Beginning with an outdoor ceremony at the Italian inspired Fig House, followed by drinks on the lawn and dinner in the Orangery, they spent the last light of the sun wrapped in each others arms.
Cat wore Halfpenny London.
Emily and Freddie
Emily and Freddie
A remote island in the Aegean Sea, Emily and Freddie chose this small intimate island and spent the week celebrating with friends and family. They married at sunset on the huge jetti over the sea, followed by drinks on the rocks and dinner under the stars.
Emily, a fashion designer, wore her own bespoke design and Dior shoes. Planning by Aether Events.
